These terms apply to our website at venezuelanreliefuk.org, our mobile apps, and our WhatsApp service. By using any of them, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use our services.
Venezuelan Relief UK is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales, charity number 1218988, with its registered address at 5 Wadsworth Road, Perivale, London, UB6 7JD.
Our website and apps provide information about our work, where donated goods can be taken, and what we are collecting. Our WhatsApp service answers questions about the same things.
We provide this information in good faith and take care to keep it accurate. Figures such as the weight of aid collected are drawn directly from our own records and are updated continuously.
Messages sent to our WhatsApp number are read and answered by an automated assistant. It will tell you so at the start of a conversation.
The assistant answers from information we have given it. It is not a person, it does not give medical, legal, financial or immigration advice, and it cannot make commitments on the charity's behalf. If you need to speak to a person, ask, and we will arrange it.
Nothing said by the automated assistant creates a binding obligation on the charity. Where anything matters — an arrangement to collect goods, a partnership, or anything about a person's circumstances — it will be confirmed by a trustee.
Information about what we accept, and where to take it, is published on our website and given by our WhatsApp service. Please read it before bringing donations: we are unable to accept items outside those categories, and there are legal restrictions on what can be shipped internationally.
We cannot guarantee that any particular donated item will reach any particular person or place. Goods are sorted, shipped and distributed according to need as assessed by us and our partner organisation on the ground.
Donated goods become the property of the charity when they are handed over. We cannot return them.

The text, photographs, logos and design on our website and apps belong to Venezuelan Relief UK, or are used with permission. You may share and link to our content to support our work. You may not use our name, logo, or photographs to suggest that we endorse you, to raise funds, or to represent yourself as connected to us, without our written agreement.
If you believe we have published something that infringes your rights, tell us at info@venezuelanreliefuk.org and we will look into it.
Our services link to other websites, including social media platforms. We are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.
We take care to keep our information accurate and our services available, but we cannot promise either without interruption. Information about collection points, opening times and current needs can change at short notice.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on information published on our services, or from our services being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Concerns about our fundraising can also be raised with the Fundraising Regulator, and concerns about the charity itself with the Charity Commission for England and Wales.
We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows when they were last revised, and the current version always applies.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
